ARMY is active in a variety of events, the profound being charity. BTS has been contributing their share in mega charities like UNICEF with its Love Myself Drive that promotes self-love and supports children around the globe against violence.

Jung Ho-Seok aka Jhope celebrated his birthday on the 18th of February. On his birthday Jhope donated  ₩150 million ($135k USD) to a charity that helps children who have been affected by the global pandemic.

“I heard that many families in vulnerable situations are facing much more problems because of the prolonged COVID-19 crisis, and support for disabled children is overlooked. I hope this donation provides some comfort to those families and will further expand social interest in supporting children with disabilities.” – Jhope

Min Yoon-Gi aka Suga donated ₩100 million ($87,980) that aids in treating children suffering from pediatric cancer at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital.

“I hope this donation will be helpful for children who are not receiving treatment due to any difficult circumstances. And I wish that they can grow healthy and bright.”- Suga

Taking inspiration from the group and their meaningful donations, the bangtan__india team sketched a very meaningful fundraising event to celebrate the birth of the rappers of BTS that radiates hope to the female victims of sexual harassment. The donations were surged from across the nation for the cause.

The funds hence raised will be donated to majlis_law an NGO working to provide help to women who have suffered sexual harassment. The donations have crossed Rs. 1,00,000 for the cause. The NGO Majlis has been active in raising awareness against violence towards females.
