JTBC confirms the Hindi adaptation of Netflix Original Something In The Rain also known as Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food. This show was aired in 2018 with moderately high ratings and is very popular in South Korea and even among global K-Drama viewers.

Something In The Rain is about a woman in her mid-thirties going through a rough patch because of her toxic ex-boyfriend. She falls in love with her best friend’s younger brother who is 10 years younger than her. They face a lot of hurdles to keep their relationship but later were able to beat these problems when they finally receive acceptance. This show also highlights workplace harassment women face everyday, the hesitation, the courage, and the backlash to go against such a work culture.

Hindi Adaptation of Something In The Rain

JTBC states “We confirmed the Indian remake of ‘Something in the Rain’ with India’s leading digital entertainment company Pocket Aces”. Fans are not ready for the Indian adaptation while some fans are already suggesting whom to cast. Despite the reaction there is still hope since Pocket Aces gave us a very heartwarming show like Little Things, we may see a different side to the show in Indian style. JTBC is stepping into the Indian market with Something In The Rain and is very keen on expanding the market here. The release dates or filming schedule are not yet confirmed.
