INDIA THEATRICAL RELEASE:
PARASITE has been brought to India by Ashwani Sharma of Impact Films – a leading Distributor of Foreign Language films in the Indian sub-continent. According to him, “PARASITE is a rare film which switches genres from comedy to thriller to horror so swiftly that one undergoes a plethora of emotions in two hours. It is a complete film curriculum in itself.”
He adds, “PARASITE is the first foreign-language film which is being theatrically released in regular shows in 15 Indian cities across different exhibitors and will be the widest release of any foreign language film in India. It is not a film to be watched on laptops or small screens but must be savoured through collective viewing on big screens.” A wildly entertaining
masterpiece, PARASITE should not be missed.
Mr. Ashwani also shares his thoughts with KPOP High India saying:
“I also expect to reach several thousand Korean families staying in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, etc and convince them to come out of their homes and watch ‘PARASITE’ only in theatres.
I am aiming to make this worldwide hit Korean film as much accessible to Indian audiences as much as possible. Our target is English Films audiences who are ready to watch any good film irrespective of its language.
I am very excited to release this Korean film as it has already captured the hearts of millions of audiences all across the world and there is no reason why it will not be a success out here.”
