K-Pop boy group Stray Kids made a comeback in the Japanese scene with their latest single ‘Scars’. It is their second Japanese single and marks their second comeback this year, following the recently released album, ‘NOEASY‘. The song is a teaser for the upcoming Japanese album ‘Scars/Thunderous‘ which is set to release next week on October 13. By far, the song has topped multiple iTunes charts in more than 30 regions like Mexico, Turkey, Taiwan, and Ukraine. In India, the song has steadily risen to #2 (at the time of writing) within a day of release! The music video has also amassed more than a million views within mere 11 hours!
Stray Kids – Scars
Released on the 4th anniversary of their pre-debut single, ‘Hellevator’, it’s no wonder that fans are seeing similarities between ‘Scars’ and ‘Hellevator’. Co-written by the dynamic rap line of Stray Kids, 3RACHA, the song reminisces the demanding trainee days when the boys worked hard to reach this level of success. The boys are seen stumbling through an abandoned establishment where they strive together in hopes of a better future. The emotional track borders with less instrumentation as well as touches of EDM with gritty rap in a true Stray Kids fashion. It has surely strengthened the anticipation for the upcoming album that would be an ensemble of four tracks.
