The main highlight of the drama is that it addresses the issue of “physical appearances” and how it affects an individual if they don’t fit into the “standards” set by the society. It gives the message that looks aren’t everything, the thing that matters the most is the personality of an individual and we should always appreciate ourselves of changing for others.

OSTs of the drama

Any K-drama is incomplete without the OST. The scenes of ‘True Beauty’ feel more beautiful because of the melodious soundtracks used in each episode. “Call me maybe” by Saya compliments the soft, light mood of the drama.
