New Twitter Voting Rules

MAMA voting causes chaos and messes up Twitter trends every year. Fans band together to vote for their favourite K-Pop idols to win the ‘Worldwide Fans’ Choice TOP 10’ award. It is also the easiest form of voting as fans can tweet the hashtag on Twitter and/or retweet someone else’s post that contains the hashtag. But 12 days after the voting for MAMA 2021 began, Mnet announced that only one vote per Twitter account a day would be valid in an effort to reduce mass voting.
